  1. Welcome to MrTerm
  2.  
  3. MrTerm is a program designed to make terminal use in the
  4. Internet environment easy and accurate.
  5.  
  6. MrTerm will walk you through setup, so configuration is
  7. simplified.  It should be known the the "default" setup
  8. in the "File" menu is the setup that is initially loaded
  9. when MrTerm is started.  When you first set your configuration
  10. and save, the "default" setup will also be recorded.
  11.  
  12. Nearly all aspects of MrTerm are saved when a configuration
  13. is saved.  This makes it handy to save various configurations
  14. for the various environments you might use, or for several
  15. users.

  17. The files included in this package are:
  18. mrterm.exe   - A version for those with Winsock support.
  19. mrtermc.exe  - A version for those without Winsock support.
  20. mrterm.hlp   - The comprehensive help file.
  21. mrterm.txt   - This file.
  22. ctl3dv2.dll  - A support file the MUST be copied to your system directory.
  23.                The most common problem is leaving it in the MrTerm directory.

  25. Many windows systems do not have Winsock support.  These users
  26. should use the 'mrtermc.exe' version, as it does not look for
  27. the "winsock.dll" file.  The 'mrterm.exe' version will support
  28. either a modem or a network (through Winsock).
